Save the Dave for Barnes & Noble, Austin

Save the date, Austin friends!

I’m thrilled to be signing books at the Barnes & Noble in Austin’s Southpark Meadows on Saturday, June 6, at 2 p.m. Come join me for some pink fun: first stopping at the Starbucks for the Spring Fling, a blended pink drink with strawberry puree and whipped cream! Then stop by to see me for my pink Girl, Unemployed book reflecting those challenging iterations of identity reinventions; all those rewrites are just rough drafts on the way to something great.

If you know me, then you know I don’t do small talk very well. So, we’ll most likely start our convo by swapping some deeply personal job market horror stories. I promise you’ll feel better after the purge, and my characters will keep you company long after the event, with their trials and tribulations that run the gamut from bitterness and resentment to rainbows of hope and trust. We can co-opt the AA saying, “It works if you work it, it works if you work it.”
